COMPETITIVE INTELLIGENCE RESEARCH ON TECHNOLOGICAL TRENDS AND MARKETS IN THE AGRICULTURAL SECTOR
In recent years, new technologies with applications in the agricultural sector have begun to be developed. They have disruptive potential in production chains, causing profound changes in the way food is produced and consumed. One of the great research demands of national agribusiness is to understand the future and impact of these technologies. For this reason, the CNA Institute needs research results that guide CNA's strategic decisions and that serve as validated and clear information for all actors in Brazilian agribusiness. With the aim of carrying out such research, the CNA Institute proposed a cooperation agreement with AGRITECH UFLA, given that UFLA is a national reference university in agribusiness studies. Therefore, the main objective of this project is to research, using the tools and techniques of Competitive Intelligence, which are the main trends and indicators capable of impacting the future of some sectors of Brazilian agriculture. By continuously monitoring news and other sources, it will be possible to build an overview of the main trends in each sector analyzed, as well as identify the threats and opportunities that arise in the coming years.
